This years Annual General Meeting was held recently at Club Rose Bay with members gathered to hear Tingira President Lance Ker deliver his annual review of the association.
“We are once again in good shape, funds are good and events happening thanks to the work of our committee” said Lance.
“Marching in Melbourne and Perth on ANZAC Day is a big step forward for us an association. The JR Reunion in November is a big focus. We are down on expected numbers and may have to make some slight changes to program in the next few weeks, the dinner is on track for Luna Park, the first phase of the refurbishment of Tingira Memorial on November 11th is also work in progress, cant wait!”
The AGM did not require elections, the association now has a three year term in place for committee members.
The AGM was a quick affair with members then forming up to march onto the Tingira Memorial for the Gallipoli sunset service.
